Updates to Dhewee Park IT systems and email
To ALL residents and owners,
Please be informed that a number of changes have recently been made to Dhewee Park’s IT systems and email, as follows:
Effective immediately, the official email address of Dhewee Park will be dheweepark@outlook.com (the old address of dheweepark@gmail.com will still work and automatically forward to the new address)
The office computer was almost 10 years old, and was about to run out of security update support from Microsoft. As a result we have replaced that machine with a new computer and hope we get another 10 years of faithful service
The old computer will have its software wiped, and then replaced with free software which will automatically be kept up to date at no cost. This machine will be setup as an internet ‘kiosk’ that any resident of Dhewee can have access to for basic web browsing and printing needs (printing will only be possible when the office is occupied). The machine will be located in the gym area.
The Dhewee Park website is also being updated again (please visit the site at http://www.dheweepark.org). As mentioned in the past, we are happy to list any houses that are for sale or rent on the website if the owners can provide relevant details and pictures.
